Summary:

Danyelle was a US Navy sailor who worked as a Personnel Specialist providing information, counseling and job training to service members in regards to Navy occupations. She was assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan, which was stationed in the Philippine Sea at the time.

Danyelle graduated from cosmetology school where she became a beautician, but she felt like she wanted to do more with her life; something worthwhile. She was determined to make a positive difference in the world. Danyelle decided to enlist in the Navy to serve her country. On September 7, 2016, she boarded an airplane for Japan.

Danyelle enjoyed being on the sea and was looking forward to the new adventures that were ahead. She was eager to get to her first duty location, Japan. She was ecstatic at the prospect of serving in the Navy. Danyelle was looking forward to traveling, making new friends, returning to college, and continuing her career as a sailor. She had just finished her naval vocational training in personnel work and had joined the ship when they were on leave in Guam.

She was a wonderful person who was kind, honest, loyal, amusing, generous and loving. Danyelle never passed judgment on anyone and welcomed everyone she met with open arms. She would give her food to a homeless person. Danyelle aspired to work as a social worker, assisting troubled adolescent girls.

Danyelle and her mother, Annette, were inseparable best friends with an unbreakable closeness.

Danyelle was incredibly self-assured and adored taking selfies. She liked to dress up and put on makeup. She also enjoyed hiking. Danyelle always had a smile on her face.

Danyelle graduated from Pittsburg High School in 2011.
